"fried chicken" contained by the oven?

I need a well brought-up recipe for "fried" like chicken but solely in the oven. What can I use for the breading to brand name it the crispiest??

Answers:
When I was a boy ever so copious years ago, Mom oven baked chicken because of Dad's low fat (because of soaring cholesterol) diet. She breaded it with cornflakes. It is a big hit at ancestral reunions.
Bread crumbs or sum people use butter milk.
I did that once and you roll the chicken surrounded by buttermilk then use store bought bread crumbs. Or buy some sourdough bread agree to it get antediluvian and hard next crumble it. Mmmmmmmm!
shake and bake. you buy it at the grocerery store
Shake-n-Bake...It comes surrounded by lots of flavors and the directions are right on the box.
Dredge the chicken in seasoned cornstarch, next dip it in whip egg whites (not yolks) before dipping contained by seasoned bread crumbs - and then burn - you will not even realize you are eating baked chicken instead of fried!
My mom uses bread crumbs, afterwards whatever spices she desires to add. Then join some canola oil till the bread crumbs sort of clump together. You hold to dip the chicken into egg or milk (preferably a mixture of both) to get this coating to stick.

Another article she does is coat the chicken with her own recipe, next fry the chicken just to brown the outside and after bake it surrounded by a baking pan on a rack to capture rid of excess grease and finish cooking the chicken.
MAN THAT SOUNDS GOOD!

Shake 'n Bake.

Crispy, Southern Fried.
dip chicken in egg. roll surrounded by crunched up corn flakes (yes the cereal). cook.
Try Shake N Bake. I haven't had it for pretty a few years but I remember it as being really apt.
I didn't know you could fry chicken in the oven. you can heat it though.. that will work VERY well.

and for the crispy sector, high warmth (450-500F) for a hour and a half.
My familial loves the recipe on the back of the Bisquik box..it is call Oven Fried Chicken. When I do not have the box I use Krusteaz pancake mix near seasonings as a coating and place chicken in a chalice baking dish that already has melt butter (margarine) onthe botton. Check it out...its m.m.m.m. good. Once you own tried it then you can modify the seasonings to suit your drink, that includes adding parmesan cheese to the mixture.
