Does betty crocker cake mix or homemade from cut into chew better?

I'm going to make a birthday cake for someone. should I use betty crocker cake mix or should I find a recipe online to fashion homemade cake from scratch?

Answers:
Depends on who is making it. If you're impossible to making cakes from gash, you might not want to try it your first time out for this event. You can't go wrong near Betty Crocker cake mix. They always turn out accurate if you measure it right and don't overbake it.
I enunciate use betty crocker, it's a no-fail recipe.
Well, if my mom was cooking, I'd thieve the homemade cake. Betty Crocker is good, but she can't touch moms recipe.
scatch by the course start making me one i wil be over in 47.5 second to help
Betty Crocker would be no-fail, but the cake seem so conventional. Plus the bizarre ingredients and preservatives are adjectives kind of terrifying in my assessment. So I vote for making something from scratch, but if you want something that taste good smartly, definitely jump with the mix.
If you are going to be paid a cheesecake, scratch is other best.
If you are making a traditional birthday cake, it depends how experienced a baker you are. If you have singular made one or two cakes from gash, better stay with a mix!
If you are a great baker, scrape is always BEST!
Nobody will know if you use Betty Crocker. It will gather you a lot of time.
Cake mix is fine, but don't use can icing. Make homemade icing. There are plenty of recipies at wilton.com
There are many cake mixes immediately in a in one piece wide multiplicity of flavors. Cakes from scratch are markedly tricky. If it were me, I would gross cake from a mix, but do a homemade frosting and some decorations.
if you are not used to baking homemade after betty crocker. to make it extra moist put a jar of water on the baking shelf underneath the cake while they are baking. it also ensures them to be smooth. i wouldn't use the canned icing. in that is a great way to manufacture a delicious chocolate icing:

6 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
1/3 cup hershey's cocoa
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 2/3 cups confectioners sugar

Cream butter within a small mixing bowl. Add cocoa and sugar alternately with milk. Beat to spreading consistency. Stir within vanilla extract. Adjust consistency if necessary beside more milk or icing sugar.

also a good satisfying to use is to combine a jar of marshmellow cream and softened cream cheese and just lash it very sticky but especially delicious everyone within my family loves it
Stick near Duncan Hines. It's much better than Betty Crocker. As for homemade cakes, I haven't found one I've like yet. My son is a baker and one time he made a homemade cake (recipe from a cookbook) and it taste so bad he threw it out. He even uses mixes where on earth he works.
A homemade cake from scratch - made properly beside quality ingredients will ALWAYS zest better than anything from a mix. But I mean using authentic butter, real vanilla etc instead of margarine or artificial flavoring. However, when I am within a hurry, I will use Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Yellow cake mix - it calls for a stick of butter and I usually append a teaspoon of real vanilla. It is a accurate substitute in a pinch. Happy cooking!
