because i one and only own a dry one and was wondering if this would be effecting my measuraments?
Answers:
here is a difference, but it is very slight... just when baking and even then individual in roomy batches does it really build a difference
it shouldn't affect your baking. a cup is a cup, liquid or dry.
healthy cooking!
It shouldn't effect anything, the only differences are that gooey ones are made to handle much superior heat, and hold spouts to make pouring easier.
There is a differences between a fluid measuring cup and a dry measure cup. I suggest you go buy a chalice liquid measure one because you may be using one that needs hot fluid.
Yes, surprisingly, there IS a difference, although slight. You should other measure WET or LIQUID ingredients contained by a glass measure cup (Pyrex), and DRY ingredients in those little nick apart measuring cups. If you solitary have the little measure cups, use a little bit smaller number (just a little), and it may be worth it to you if you cook a lot, to invest surrounded by a Pyrex measuring cup. Get a 2 cup one at least possible. Better yet, attain a 2 cup and a 1 cup. Good luck!
There is a difference, buy a liquid measure cup to see. Pour one cup of milk into the dry cup and pour that over into the liquid estimate and it will be off. Not much, but it is sour.
