This is a southern Louisiana dish, we eat it next to rice. It's not really a relish, but it could be. It's delicious. In a small pot, join a couple of teaspoons of oil, add on a small chopped onion about 1/4 cup and roughly speaking the same amount of chopped green bell pepper and cook until it is wilted. Then incorporate a 1/2 can of tomato sauce and 1/4 can of diced tomatoes, let this simmer for give or take a few 1/2 hour. Then add a can of in one piece kernel corn and whatever spices you close to. Also put 2 tablespoons of sugar and let it cook for in the region of another 15 mintues. You can spice this up by adding some chopped up jalapeno's if you resembling. (If you want a creamy relish, use one can of creamed corn and one can of whole kernel). This is really well brought-up.
