Microwave 1-2 minutes, or conceivably 30 seconds.
wrap it surrounded by tin foil and bake at 350 for going on for 45 min. micro for 5 to 7 min. on high.

Oven Baked
Heat oven to 425oF. Pierce potato contained by several places to allow steam to escape. Place potato on oven rack or baking sheet. Bake 40 to 55 minutes or until tender when pierced with a fork. (The number of potatoes person baked does not change baking time.)
Microwave-Baked
Pierce 1 potato several times to allow steam to escape. Place surrounded by microwave oven; microwave on high (100% power) until tender, turning potato over in the middle. For medium-size potatoes (about 5 ounces), microwave 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes. For larger potatoes (about 9 ounces), microwave 5 to 9 minutes.
I take mine and rinse resourcefully, then rub skins near butter. Wrap in foil & scorch @ 350 degrees for 1 to 1 & 1/2 hour, turning every 30 minutes. They will lately start to give when done, check @ the 1 hour put pen to paper, then every 10 minutes..Perfect every time!!
