This is in recent times how I do it... it may not be the right path, but my hubby loves em.
Obviously you call for a few complicated green tomatoes and a skillet next to fresh grease. Slice the tomatoes at tiniest 3/4+ inch gelatinous. Pat them dry next to a towel or daily towel. Dip surrounded by butter milk/ milk. Coat surrounded by flour mix (I use self rising, garlic saline, saline, pepper, and a tiny bit of nutmeg) next simply fry them at med big bake untill they are golden brown. I usually serve them beside honey mustard or sour cream. (my hubby also like them beside american cheese melt over top, I'm not sure almost that bit)
