There are several cake recipes that I want to try. But they adjectives mention the regular oven conditions. While I would like to roast them in a microwave oven...How different is that?

when you overheat a cake in the oven, it no problem needs more time than baking it contained by the microwave...i remember that i once baked cup cakes surrounded by the oven when i realized that i be out of gas...so simply, i baked them in the microwave for couple of minutes..and they be ready..!
surrounded by a microwave a cake batter is just heated up really nippy. and in a oven it is cooked thoroughly through. oh and heres a tip you cant ''bake'' a cake surrounded by a moicrowave you can only knook it
Cakes baked contained by an oven have a better color and aroma (in my opinion) that those cooked in a microwave.
Ovens warmth from the outside in and make available the outer crust some carmelization that adds both aroma and texture.
You can not get that surface carmelization from microwave cookery. The batter heat too uniformly.
If you want a really good cake, use a conventional oven.
