Do you know any fun recipe to do beside my little one?

my little one and i want to spend some time in the kitchen together cooking but i dont know of any fun kid recipe other than cookies. do you know any?

Answer:
You could use refrigerator biscuits and do little homemade pizzas, only her size. Let her make it herself, she'll probably love it. You could also use some cocktail hotdogs and wrap them up within crescent dough for some mini pigs in a blanket. There are seriously of cookbooks and websites for "little cooks" with a short time ago the sort of thing you are looking for. Have fun!
How about grilled cheese sandwich. Let the little ones cut the bread with cookie cutters and trade name the sandwiches into different shapes.

My kids also resembling to make soup. I tolerate them cut the veggies with supervision, nouns all the ingredients into the pot and them I cook. It's amazing what kids will chomp through when they make it themselves.

Pizza is another great theory. We make face on the crust from the different ingredients: olives or pepperoni for eyes, slices of veggies for mouths, ears, etc.

when my oldest son be little we used to make peanut butter and jelly rolls. basically take a slice of bread, cut past its sell-by date the crusts, put a thin echelon of peanut butter and jelly on it and roll it! you can cut it into smaller pieces if you want to.
One article I know about kids, they love to catch their hands into the mix. My Grandaughter loves to net these.

Meatballs

Ingredients:
1 poundLean ground beef
3/4 cupCrushed seasoned croutons
1/4 cupChopped sweet onion
1Egg, lightly overcome
2 clovesGarlic, chopped
3 tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
1 tablespoonPrepared yellow mustard
1 teaspoonRed pepper flakes
1 teaspoonCajun seasoning
1 teaspoonExtra virgin olive grease
1 tablespoonButter

Prep:
1. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, croutons, sweet onion, egg, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, red pepper flakes, and Cajun seasoning. Form the mixture by foot into meatballs.

2. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes
my children love to clear monkey bread. get a few can of pillsbury buscuit mix and melt a stick of butter. cut respectively uncooked buscuit within 1/4's and dip in butter and afterwards a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. then place one atop the others within a tube pan... when finished pour excess butter and sugar mixture on top and burn in a 325 scope oven for 40 minutes. it is fun to eat, you only just pull it apart. and it comes past its sell-by date in bite size pieces....
FRUIT PIZZA

1 prepared thin-crust 12" pizza crust
8 oz. light cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 Del Monte(R) banana, peel and sliced
4 cups assorted fresh fruit, sliced: Del Monte(R) pineapple slices,
blueberries, strawberries,
apricots, Del Monte(R) honeydew and cherries
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup pistachios, chopped
Non-stick cooking spray

DIRECTIONS:
* Spray 12-inch pizza pan near non-stick spray. Place crust on pizza pan
and cook at 350°F for 8-10 minutes. Cool.
* Blend cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla. Spread mixture over cooled crust.
* Arrange banana slices in veil over cream cheese mixture.
* Arrange remaining fruit slices in circles on bananas. Vary colors and
shapes.
* Cut into 10 wedge.

you could also label playdough. flour and water and a pinch of brackish with a bit of food coloring. recipe readily available online. also, chocolate dipped stuff similar to dried fruit, fresh fruit, marshmellows, pretzels, etc. or pizza, bread, buscuits (anything with dough is fun and apposite for them to mix and measure), lemonade from scratch, or net food sculptures resembling they do on this website! think things that entail mixing. things that need measure, and things that need lots of prep or cleaning. mushrooms, blistering veggies, cleaning lettuce, making salad dressings from scratch, soups, etc.

* 4 cup cooked, diced potatoes
* 1 onion chopped
* 1 package Hotdogs - sliced
* 3 Tablespoons margarine
* 3 Tablespoons flour
* 1 1/4 cup milk
* 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar or American cheese

Grease a 1 quart casserole dish.

Put the potatoes, onions and hot dogs within the dish.

Heat the butter in the microwave for 15 second , mix in the flour & stir.

Add the milk and hang on to heating and stirring for 30 second until it becomes for a moment bit think.

Now stir contained by the cheese.

Pour all this over your casserole.

Sprinkle some more cheese on top.

Bake at 450* for 30 minutes. YUM!

Soft pretzels are something my son has loved to produce with me ever since he be 3 (he's 7 now). It's easy and almost foolproof, even if you don't scorch much, and it's very hands-on: it's features of like the Play-Doh concept except that your child have something tasty that he/she made themselves when you're done.

For 8 big pretzels:

--1 cup plus 3 tablespoons heat up (not hot) water
--1 1/2 teaspoons moving dry yeast

Sprinkle the yeast over the warm sea in a small bowl and agree to stand until creamy, about 5 minutes.

--1 teaspoon saline
--1 scant teaspoon sugar
--3 cups all-purpose flour

Mix these together in prevailing conditions mixing bowl.Make a well within the center and pour in the yeast mixture. Stir contained by gradually beside a fork, mixing in more and more of the surrounding flour until a shaggy dough forms.

4 bananas, peeled and halve
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch morsels
1 cup chopped almonds
1 cup candy sprinkles
8 wooden craft sticks

Insert wooden stick into each banana piece. Arrange on parchment-lined sheet tub and freeze for 20 minutes.
Place chips and morsels into separate bowls. Microwave on medium boil until melted, in the region of 60 seconds, stirring every 30 second.

Remove bananas from freezer and dip by alternating between melted chocolate and butterscotch. Immediately roll them within chopped nuts or sprinkles. Freeze until frozen solid, about 1 hour.

JELLO other does it for me!
we generate ice cream cone cupcakes...roughly take a cake batter and instead of using cupcake papers(which are a mean waste) we use ice cream cones, (the ones next to flat bottoms)..fill them around 2/3 full witht he batter and cook like you wold the cupcakes..when they cool, it is lots of fun for the lil ones(i enjoy a 2 year old)to make the frosting look approaching soft serve ice cream and consequently we use sundae toppings(jimmies, nuts cherries)to "top"them off
ants on a log....take celery and put peanut butter on it and raisins (for the ants) you can trademark fruit smoothies ...dollop of yogurt ( well you dont REALLY entail yogurt but it thickens them up a bit) and fruit and blend, you can spawn bread its relatively easy and kids approaching to knead the dough cus they get to moosh it, theres also plenty of childrens cook books you can check out at the library
