What are some apt substitutes for raisins contained by baked recipe?

Not Chocolate or nuts!

Answers:
I guess it would depend in the recipe, but here are a few appetizing suggestions (all are dried fruits):
cherries
cranberries
currants
blueberries
apricots (diced)
plums (diced)
dates (chopped)
Dried cranberries, coconut, granola.
Cranberries are nice - more for colour than taster. Chopped dried apricots or dates work capably too.
chopped maraschino cherries, dried cranberries
Chopped dates or any dried fruit.
I would use craisens. They are the closest point to raisens so your recipes would come out nearly superlative. They are so sweet and yummy! They even come in a few infused flavors immediately. They are dried cranberries if you haven't heard of them. I know Super Walmart carry them.
CHOCOLATE CHIPS!!
Well, I guess you could add a bit of the other suggestions too. (everything taste better with some chocolate)
Chopped date are wonderful. Yumsers!
