Which onion would you prefer?

A red, vidalia, green, yellow, pearl onion or any other type?

My favorite is red onion; it have sweet and mild onion taste!! Whats your favorite?

If you want a mild sweet onion, the king of the hummock is the Maui Sweet Onion. You can eat them resembling an apple. You will pay a nice price for them also. Shallots are a type of onion, however deeply small in humour. They are used in masses French dishes and very mild within flavor. They are also use in cooking by most Chef's that cook within a Classic style.
Vidalia are my favorite for all types of cooking and using surrounded by salads and on hamburgers, they are so sweet. My second choice would be red onions since they are fairly sweet and add on a nice touch of color to foods.
I don't have a favorite, I love them adjectives and eat them adjectives. :)
I really like adjectives onions. Since I live in Georgia, Vidalia onions are popular and are obedient in salads and stews. I love red onions and use pallid onions for everyday cooking. I love green onions as a garnish or contained by dishes. I don't use pearl onions that often. If I have to pick my favorite onion it would be red onions.
For eating unprocessed, no contest. Definitely Vidalia. In salads, either Vidalia or red. Otherwise adjectives onions can be cooked with equal nouns.

Depends on what I"m making, but overall I like vidalia best. There is nought better if you are sauteeing them in butter until extremely tender! For most salads though, I like red onion. For broad cooking I usually buy yellow onions for things similar to meatloaf, hamburgers, etc.

i love onions! i guess vidalia and pearl are my favorites. use vidalia raw contained by sandwiches, pearl and vidalia also for sauteed food - zilch adds to the flavor similar to fresh onion
Wow, that's a loaded question for me anyway. There are three types of onions; spring, storage and pearl.
Spring onions are grown from slump to spring, and have a mild morsel. They are shipped immediately after get in.
Storage onions are firm, dry and possess a pungent taste. After garner, they are dried and then shipped.
Spanish onions are ample and mild, often used sliced contained by hamburger buns for extra flavour and texture.
Red onions have a similar sweet flavour to that of Spanish onions, and occasionally chefs prepare it marmalade-style to attend grilled sausages.
Vidalia, in Georgia and Walla Walla, within Washington State are famous for their extra mild onions. Some family slice them and enjoy them on sliced buttered rye bead. They are available within April and May.

I like red onions surrounded by my scalloped potatoes, yellow within hash browns, yellow within home fries, white in spaghetti sauce, red or pallid for sandwiches, hot dogs and hamburgers. If carmalized, I similar to yellow. The enumerate goes on but, I guess you could influence I love 'em all.

Maui, Red Bermuda are great. But the best are Scallions.
Nothing tastes close to a carmelized Vidalia onion. So darn sweet and goes next to anything. They'd be my first choice, wish I could enjoy them all year round. Also similar to yellow, red and green onions.
