Once you enjoy peeled and sliced your taters surrounded by french fry shape, dry each one individually next to a paper towel. Dry make crisp. Make sure your oil is hot. You can use a short time or a lot. It is up to you. If you fry surrounded by a skillet then you don't requirement much. You want your oil to be atmosphere hot. Place fries single layer surrounded by pan and fry till golden on adjectives sides. You can sample one when you regard as they are done. If they need more time, turn the bake down and cook a little longer. When the fires ARE done, drain them to catch rid of extra oil. Turn them frequently once done sprinkle near either popcorn brackish or Lawrey seasoning salt. Make a nice dipping sauce for them by mixing cream cheese, mayonaise and garlic together.
I be always skilled to cut the potatoes, skins still on and put them in saline water and agree to them soak for about an hour or more. The thinner you cut them the crispier they will be. Then stick them contained by the fry daddy. I sprinkle them with rather seasoning salt and parmesan cheese.
yea slice a few potato's drop surrounded by hot oil. in a minute you have made french fries.
seize some russet potatoes, peel them, soak them surrounded by cold water for a time, slice them, blanch them in peanut grease, you just want them slightly cooked. spread them on a cookie sheet, and put them subsidise in the fridge to cool. once cool, finish cooking them adjectives the way through. toss next to some chervil, thyme, tarragon, parsley, parmesan cheese, and a little crushed red pepper.
Peel and cut potatoes into sticks (or rounds if that's easier for you). You can also preserve the skin on.
Heat some vegetable oil. I tend to use a adjectives pot, which reduces the accident of oil splashing over the side.
If you close to a hint of sweet, include a teaspoon of honey to the oil. Once the grease is hot enough (test by tossing a small piece of potato surrounded by the oil. If it sizzles *right away* it's hot enough). Put the potatoes within the hot oil. Cooking time depends on the size of your potato pieces and grease temperature. Once they're a nice golden brown, hold them out of the oil near a slotted spoon. Drain on paper towels.
