Has anyone tried this? I made a batch of wilton buttercream icing to nibble test for a cake I want Saturday. If I make flowers beside it can I freeze them?
Answers:
Freeze them immediately after making and discreetly so they keep their shape, or they might soft spot a little rancid.
I hold done this before, it works fine. It is awfully convenient since making the flowers can be both difficult and time-consuming. I bid you the best of luck and hope all go well!
Also, I commend you for one able to bring in the flowers & keeping your patience beside them -- I know I got frustrated and a moment ago quit when trying to make them...
I've never tried it myself, but I've have people I know try it and they said that it worked.
Good luck next to your cake
