can i still make a well-mannered spaghetti and meatballs without oregano and basil? I sthere other ingredients that I can use instead?

I would vote no. I don't "make do beside what I got" if I don't have something needed for a recipe, I simply net a different recipe. oregano and basil are vital to a tomato sauce. worthy, fresh oregano and basil. you could make it, sure, buy, why? it's not going to savour as good as it would if you have them, so just be in motion to the store, or make a different recipe.
You can use rosemary and plenty of garlic and onions, there's also those canned tomatoes next to the italian seasoning that work of you are making the sauce from scratch.
Sure! Italian seasons have what you need. Try count fresh cut up bell peppers or onion for flavor. If you can win rosemary add a sprig of that and remove when done. I enjoy a friend who adds a morsel of cinamon and it's really good!

I am going to assume you are already adding garlic and onion - those you clearly need.
Make sure you put in a bay palm leaf to the sauce while its cooking...a little red wine help with flavor, too. I also attach a pinch of ground cumin, gives it a smokier flavor. Do you hold thyme? A little of that is nice, along near a little parsley.
Plus, if you simmer the meatballs within with the sauce, you will achieve a lot of flavor from that.
It will be fine!! Spaghetti and Meatballs rule!

Here is my recipe
TOMATO SAUCE :
cans of total peeled tomatoes
1 can of crushed tomatoes
onions (optional)
garlic cloves (optional)
carrot shredded very strong
thyme & bay leaves
celery brackish
olive oil
brackish & pepper
Put all this ingredients contained by a pot, on the stove on low heat and
permit the sauce thiken for at least 1 hour and a partly, stiring from times to times
For bolognese :
Put some butter and sliced onions in a jar, add the ground beef, saline & pepper, stir.
When the water have evaporated and the tomatoe sauce is as fluid or thick as you similar to it, add the beef to it.
Or for the meat ball
MEAT BALLS :
1 pound of grounded beef, not too lean
1 egg yoke
1 peace of white bread soaked in milk and pressed dry
1 onions diced unbelievably small
1 bouquet of parsley (shredded)
2 coffee spoons of oil
Salt & pepper
Put adjectives those ingredients in a orb and malax until the mixture is homogeneous.
Make your meat balls, flat or round, and cook them contained by butter.
For pasta sauce, you cook in butter first, consequently in the sauce
