I enjoy a great gas grill and simply love the alleviate of it but I want to cook some ribs.Are hickory chips any upright?

I am just not sure of the advantages if any to using these hickory chips within gas grills or where you sould place them for optimm results.My brother lately loves ribs and I'd like to try this recipe and it does telephone for the hickory chips.Any yahoo neighbors want to help me out.

Make sure you to a degree cook the ribs before throwing them on the grill. Either boil or braise them. You can use the wood chips but be wary how. Get an aluminum pan give or take a few 3 inches deep. soak the chips within water and place them over one burner on your grill. You may own to fine tune it with more river with the chips, but the push button is to get it to smoke. Place the ribs on the remaining burner... very soon you have made a poor man smoker to finish your ribs. The sauce is key.hope u get a good one!
it works really economically, ill do it on my grill, but i resembling using meskete(sp) chips also
Being a former chef from Canada, place the dampened chips, first let them soak within water for 30 minutes, later drain them and package them surrounded by a pouch made of aluminum foil, and place at the rear of the BBQ, this style the smoke travels forward.

To pre-prepare your ribs, I like to season mine the hours of darkness before, and the subsequent day wrap them contained by foil and cook them for 45-60 minutes at 350, this get them most of the opening, and finishing on the grill is a short period of smoke, procure the smoke going on high, place the ribs on and set it to environment for 20-25 minutes turn once or twice, make sure they don't return with to dark, and at the final moment do your saucing, this will prevent burning.
