Can I Fry Chicken next to bread crumbs instead of flour?

I either can't find or I don't own anymore of the flour in my kitchen, but I do hold some 4C bread crumbs and I wanted to know if I could fry my chicken near it instead. If so, please give any tips on how to do so, not that I don't know how to fry chicken, but it might fluctuate with bread crumbs. Thanks to adjectives who helpfully contribute.
