I want to ship an apple pie accross the country, any suggestions?

My wife has an uncle within Minnesota and he really wants some of her notorious apple pie. We live in Oregon. I would be the uber husband if I could numeral out a way to accomplish this.

Freeze the pie , ship it surrounded by a very lightweight Styrofoam shipping cooler busy with dry rime. It will make it no problem.

pack it up, and ship it Fed-Ex relations do it all the time.
