many years ago i have a recipe which involved pasta, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and basil, it wasn't a salad, it was served hot resembling a pasta bake. does anyone know a recipe which I could try?! gratitude

Easy Penne Pasta Bake
An easy pasta and cheese recipe near tomatoes.
INGREDIENTS:
16 ounces penne pasta or similar shape
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 immense (28 oz) can tomatoes, broken up
1 teaspoon dried leaf basil, crumbled
brackish and pepper
1 1/2 to 2 cups shredded cheese, Mozzarella or a pizza mixture
PREPARATION:
Cook penne pasta in boiling salted dampen as directed on package; drain and set aside. Meanwhile, grill vegetable oil within a medium saucepan. Add onion; sauté for nearly 4 minutes, or until tender. Add garlic, tomatoes, and basil; cook until heated through.
Taste and add brackish and pepper. Combine cooked penne pasta, sauce and 1 cup shredded cheese in a weakly buttered casserole. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake penne pasta recipe for about 20 minutes at 350°. Penne pasta recipe serves 6.
I love baked ziti try this...it is SO easy!
Instead of mushrooms you could use tomatoes or donate to it

1 medium onion, chopped
28 ounces jar spaghetti sauce next to mushrooms
1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
5 cups hot cooked medium tube shaped macaroni
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

In a huge saucepan over medium dignified heat, cook beef and onion until beef is browned, stirring to separate meat. Pour past its sell-by date fat. Stir surrounded by pasta sauce, 1 cup mozzarella cheese and macaroni.
Spoon into 3- quart shallow baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

I think that this dish is best made beside rigatoni. I think the easiest mode is to
Brown some Beef Mince with extra virgin olive grease (Garlic optional)
Season it with pepper in the past or after which ever is easiest
Then Add a Jar or Two of Passata(sieved tomatoes). Then add a small chalice of red wine for taste. Then Rip contained by some basil.
Simmer on a low heat for 1 hour cover near a lid it spits a lot.
When in position cook your pasta and mix a little sauce to coat the pasta.
Then into a cavernous dish layer sauce, pasta, mozzarella basil until you achieve the top of the dish cover with a final section of sauce and a layer of freshly grated Parmesan cheese and cover next to foil and cook for around 30 minutes in the oven or until the edges are crispy and the cheese have melted. I cook this at around 200c contained by my fan assisted oven It lend a hand to take the foil rotten for the last few minutes of cooking as the crispy cheese go down well near the family.
