What is the ABV limit for a beverage to be considered as alcohol and what is the max ABV cut back for a beverage to be considered as alcohol free?? British laws...
Answers:
The maximum ABV hinder for an alcoholic drink is 100%. That is to say it is legally recognized to sell pure ethanol as a beverage.
0.5% or below is considered Low Alcohol.
0.05% or below is considered Alcohol Free.
I've notice that 'alcohol free wine' and those cans of Shandy Bass contain 0.5% alcohol?
I don't know if that help you?
Alcohol free = 0.005
non alcoholic = 0
dealcoholised = 0.5
Being a bartender and a good one at that the answer is:
Alcoholic: minimum of 0.5%
Alcohol free Less than 0.05%
as a consequence low alcohol is inbetween the two
hope it helps
