What is the proper process to put rum into a coconut and store it overnight?

I have hear that it is possible to make homemade coconut rum. I can't seem to be to find any recipes on this, so I'm curious if anybody out near knows the details. Specifically, I'm curious as to what to do beside the coconut milk and how to store the creation overnight so it has a arbitrary to 'marinate'.

Answer:
Are you thinking about making your own coconut "wine" or "brandy"? Not a apt idea. It isn't as assured as it might seem. There are two nonspecific kinds of alcoholic beverages made from coconuts (here within the Philippines). One is made from the sap collected when you cut the coconut flower and the other from the coconut water. Then both are filter, fermented, and usually distilled. If you try this at home you'll probably end up beside vinegar.

If you want coconut-flavor in your drinks you should probably of late use commercially available coconut milk. It comes in a can (or contained by powdered form) just shake and pour. This is easier than drilling a hole within a coconut and pouring rum inside. I don't think you'll take any extra coconut flavor by storing it in a coconut. I hope this help.
