These people enjoy a lot of money. They don't close to to do dishes. Who does? So instead of doing dishes, they just throw away the goggles and get a brand new one. Ahhhh... Must be nice. I've gotta keep using alike glasses over and over and over. But I'm not bitter.
all right, some people do it as some sort of tradition, butt lots think that the goggles are disposable. you should probably think going on for hiring a waiter to those kinds of things...
within some cultures it's a good luck point
k
Because they are drunk! :)
Well, historically/traditionally, if someone proposed a toast to something really marvelous, you'd say cheers, drink the wine, and afterwards break the glass because it be a way to show (1) that you fully approved of anything they said in the toast and (2) that near would never be an event/toast/occassion so wonderful again to merit the use of that glass.
It's type of like when someone desires to say that someone or something is really special, they voice "after they made X, they broke the mould" - see?
In the Jewish tradition, there are other reason for doing so at a wedding...
Opa!
because they are PIGS
In some cultures, it is a short time ago a custom or tradition.
Tradition, mostly.
It's suppose to be a good luck point. But it really is only moral luck when the 1st glass is tossed over the shoulder.. those that do it near a 2nd glass obtain badluck. Some places do it just to indicate they've have enough to drink. It adjectives depends where it is done! I done it once on a ride on the ship Queen Of Victoria! My first ride on it and I discovered I gain sea sick on ships!
Traditionally it funds good luck
