Have the brewers stopped producing this?
Answers:
Strange ~ I was simply looking for that yesterday! Great thirst quencher made by Scottish & Newcastle Breweries and sold as Younger's. In a lot of the pubs it be known as "A wee heavy". I haven't see it around for a wee while now within the supermarket, but maybe I'm looking within the wrong one. I suppose it's more old fashioned presently like Pale Ale. Lager seem to have taken over.

If it be Scottish and Newcastle, they were bought out so possibly no longer in production.
I am from Scotland (originally) and I remember it! Hope it has not vanshed!
I hope so,, it be vile (chemical- city) ,never seen it for ages ..
Poof!
if it waas nice, an lots of peeps buying it they still generate it
perhaps it taste like my urine
You can still buy Youngers Tartan Special Ale.
It sure is not wonderful - but for a mass-produced beer it is quite drinkable.
