Why is white wine served at cold heat and red wine isnt?

Is there any object for not tasting red wine at a cold heat? Why is white and rose wine served cold?

Answers:
White wine has more volatile chemicals which would smell overpowering at room heat. The colder the temperature the more subdued the smell will be. This is true not individual wth wines, but also with food. Ever wonder why sushi or sashimi is served cold? Because the space heater it is the greater chance the fishy smell would turn up.

Red wine, equally, contains tannins, which will taste more prominent at cold warmth. This is because alcohol (a volatile chemical), which act as a match to the tannins, is dumbed down at colder temperature.
I drink adjectives my wine cold.white, red, rose, sparkling.YUM!
