It is hot today. I am craving a RED Southern Rhone. Does a chilled Grenache base wine chew honest? Feedback?

Answers:
2003 Rhones are wonderful, North and South, Syrah and Grenache, but I wouldn't chill below 55; the fruit dissapears and they can be harsh, especially when immature (i.e., 2001 or younger). Rhones do make a surprisingly apposite base for Sangria.

Other Answers:

Sure - if it feel good do it. Young Grenache is virtuous chilled.
