I actually used to frequent an upper scramble restaurant/tavern that has since closed down that have lots of stuff like this. I used to attain strawberries that were marinated contained by manhattans that were excellent if you close to manhattans. I also remember them marinating them in things close to chocolate liquers, and other ones that were better tastings, Im pretty sure it said something on the menu more or less how they were disappeared sealed and frozen over one night contained by the liquor and then have to be eaten soon after to avoid the berry spoiling
