I prefer frozen margaritas, but I heard your milkshake DOES bring adjectives the boys to the yard...
If the margarita have alcohol in it, I would voice that the milkshake is colder. The alcohol would have a lower freezing point.
clearly a frozen margarita

a frozen margarita is colder. The alcohol acts on the rime the same opening salt does. It lowers the melt point thus super cooling it. You can actually trial this, by taking a glass of icewater and count salt or alcohol to it. The warmth will actually drop by ten degree. The drink being frozen truly adds to the reality that its colder. The ice is crushed or shaved later mixed with the alcohol. Because the rime is smaller it has more surface nouns then if it be in cubes. This allows the alcohol to bond near it and start breaking it down thus "realeasing" its colder temperature.
Because a margarita have liquor in it, which have a lower freezing point than milk or water, a margarita can achieve a lower temperature than a milkshake and still stay slushy.
