Is it true folks within the UK drink thaw out beer ?

What no ice over at hand :))

Answers:
Some beers are produced to be enjoyed at room warmth. Mostly dark brews similar to stouts(Guiness), porters, and brown ales(Newcastle). Many Belgain ale are sevred at room temp as well.
Beer be invented before modern refrigeration, thus beer is traditionally served melt in Europe an elsewhere.
lager = cold, beer/ale etc = room warmth.

Thats the way it is supposed to be, and its a shame really that you cant receive proper beer in other countries, such as the USA.
yeahh im american and melt beer is just mean.
only the alcoholics who can't skulk for it to chill, so thats probably most of us then!
hahahah Yes the UK have Ice* lol..and some do drink it warm.others prefer it sour Tap* some like it from fridge*~ To respectively and their own*~
I think that you will find that it is drunk at room heat and not warm
in that are two types of beer

Lager - fermented and served at cold temperatures, going on for 45 degrees F

Ale-fermented and served at "room temperature", more or less 65 degrees F

Lagers nibble horrible at 65 and ales taste horrible at 45, they are brewed and use different yeasts near this in mind. english drink more ales (stouts, brown ales, porters, ipa, etc) Americans used to until the revolutionary time of war when everthing british went out of rage, so instead americans took up the german style of beer, lagers (marzens, bocks, and pilsner styles) that is also why americans enjoy so many german name in the beer industry, close to anheiserbusch or grolsch or heinekin, pabst, there adjectives german style beers vs the english style ales
