What's the alcohol content contained by tequila?

or vodka or any hard drinks for that thing.

Answer:
Tequila is usually 70 to 110 proof (35 to 55% alcohol content.)
usually almost 100 proof, so 50 percent alcohol
Depends on the brand, check the side of the bottle.

Normal vodka usually comes surrounded by aobut 37-40% proof, tequila not much less, I don`t know 35% Rum and Gin are the other two hard drinks that typcially enjoy a proof of 40% or over. But brands can differ.
the easiest passageway is to look on the label for a proof number, i have a sneaking suspicion that beer is labeled as a percent.

This is a good jape i heard back about tequila.....
One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor

I guess they may hold been chitchat about shots, though its unlikely that one would any be floored or pass out after four shots base on the normal grown size/weight, on the other hand I hold seen nation start to get goofy after purely one drink makes me wonder, LOL!
Most are around 37.5%

To give you an conception of balence, a beer is generally around 4% and absinthe is around 80%

Pure alcohol is deathlike, even in small doses
All unflavored tequilas sold in the US are 80 proof (40%.) Some sold surrounded by Mexico are 70 proof.
Most vodkas are 80 proof, flavored ones are usually 70 proof and there are some clearly well-defined 100 proof (i.e. Smirnoff Blue 100, Absolute 100, and Stoli 100)
It tequila the allowed alcohol content by the Mexican administration is a minimum of 70 proof, the highest I enjoy seen a bottle is 46 proof. In USA you will singular see 80 proof because of some US rules.

Other spirits can vary markedly much but normal is 80 proof, Bacardi have a 100 proof product while you have liqueurs which are 36 proof...
