Name a wine-food pairing that simply would NOT do?

myself: Sauvignon Blanc and Hostess Ding Dongs

Answers:
The food pairing challenge they use within some sommelier exams is fresh pineapple.

The extreme acidity of pineapple combined next to its intense sweetness makes it almost impossible to construct a wine match. So deliberate Bordeaux and pineapple and grimace, or almost any other wine you can think of.

Oh, and what is the smallest worst match? A sweet Asti spumante
Ripple and Caviar
Sweet Rose' and Steak
Spicy Mexican Chili near a chilled Riesling.
Chianti and Tuna fish salad.
Ruffino Chianti Reserve with Cheetos dipped within yellow mustard.
merlot and a candy tablet
Thunderbird and lobster tails
mac and cheese (meijer brand) next to merlot
A bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios (with milk, of course) and a glass of Cabernet.
The most adjectives one: Wine with your salad if it have vinegar based dressing on it.
Savignon Blanc and Pickles
white zinfandel near anything..

chardonnay with chocolate
