There are many different brands of liquor, when someone asks a bartender for 2 shots of something he recommend, he is requesting top shelf liquor. Bourbon, whiskey, whatever. He is expecting the bartender to know what he have in his stick that may suit his discriminating tastes. It's a fun road to discover new liquor that you may not have tried back.
Good luck,

yager bomb or a crown royal shot with an ginger or peach energy drink. any bomb or mix. I like bombs they seem to be alot cooler now and days, afterwards just a regular shot. you can play around since their is so lots energy drinks. merely think what would it meeting. or you never know you might just be paid something that no one have tasted since. why? play with your punch drinks and liquors approaching bombs.
Vodka is a good underside because it doesn't usually bring a lot of flavor to the do, so the additional ingredient doesn't receive mized with anything unusual.
Try hitting him with something sweet or adjectives, or both. A little vodka/grapefruit mix, or vodka/grenadine mix and give it a clever signature like a "glowing ending" or something.
If it's just a guy who requests something weird and complex, beat up a jaeger bomb or a flaming something (if it's legal, usually isn't).
It really depends on the shaft atmosphere. A hotel bar is different from a club banister, and a honkey-tonk is a little different from a pool antechamber or darts pub.
Try these:
Black Gold
Layer equal parts Jagermeister and Goldschlager contained by a shot glass, Gold on the bottom. Easy!
Hot Stuff
Equal parts Gin (bombay sapphire) and Vodka surrounded by shot glass, top next to a dash of tabasco or habanero sauce.
Silver Bullet
shake equal parts Vodka and White Sambuca beside ice, strain into shot cup
Kamikazi
(for 2 shots)
Shake 1 1/4 oz Vodka, 1oz lime juice, 1 oz triple sec next to ice, strain into shot goggles.
Or try something pure, I always reccomend Bombay Sapphire Gin, one rime cube in the bottom, DO NOT SHAKE!! You haven't have great gin until you try it.
I'm a bartender and it's funny 'cause I just have a customer ask me that last hours of darkness.
Ketel One always works for me. The customers love it..
