I love Marguritas when I go to restaurants, especially the strawberry manner. I have tried the mixes at the store but they other leave something to be desired. So what do bartenders do to build them extra delicious that you cannot receive from a mix?

Strawberry Margarita
1/2 oz strawberry schnapps
1 oz tequila
1/2 oz triple sec
1 oz lemon juice
1 oz strawberries
saline
Rub rim of cocktail glass near lemon juice and dip rim within salt. Shake schnapps, tequila, triple sec, lemon liquid, and strawberries with rime, strain into the salt-rimmed glass, and serve.
All the ingrediants (except the salt) can be put into a blender and served as a frozen Margarita

i'm a bartender at a chain restaurant and we hold our own margarita mix. for strawberry margaritas we just make the addition of strawberry puree. nothing in their natural habitat and crazy. you might try a splash of sprite.
1.5 cups of ice
1 Cup of Lime Juice (like Dole)
1/2 fresh lime liquid
Dash of salt
Bar Syrup to weakness
Frozen Strawberries
Tequila to taste (about 1 and a partially shots)
Blend until smooth.
Wotks great with Blueberries, raspberries and cherries.
