Champagne for wedding ceremony?

Any suggestions for nice (and cheap!) champagne for our wedding reception? And also the amount of bottles we would entail for 30 people.

Thanks!

Answer:
If the champagne is of late for a toast then 5 or 6 bottles would be satisfactory. A good sparkling wine @ around $10 per bottle is St. Hillaire brut, Domaine St. Michelle $12 per bottle is good. Real cheap...try Cooks @ $5 per bottle. Also, Cristolino brut cava from Spain @ in the order of $10 per bottle. If you are looking for real champagne from the Champagne region of France be prepared to spend at lowest possible $30 per bottle. Try Deutz or Nicolas Feuillatte.
Go to your wine store and ask them what they hold for a case traffic, and go near that. Anything left over you can use as gifts.
Korbel champagne is a good choice.
If you want an actual Champagne (and not a sparkling), I suggest Moet Chandon. However, if you are not opposed to have a sparkling wine (Champagne from other wine regions in the world, essentially), here are a couple more suggestions:

1. Yellowglen Yellow from Fosters Wine Estates Americas
Made surrounded by Australia; $13.15/bottle (Canadian prices).
2. Yellowglen Pink Sparkling from Fosters Wine Estates Americas
Made in Australia; $13.15/bottle (Canadian prices)
3. Peller Estates Ice Cuvee from Andrew Peller Estates Ltd.
Made within Canada; $30.15/bottle (Canadian prices)

Out of these three, I like the Peller Estates one as a white sparkling wine and the Yellowglen Pink for a pink sparkling wine. I know that some citizens think pink champagne is a bit gluey, but try a glass of it and, next to this one, you'll quickly not assistance whether or not its tacky.
The Jacob's Creek Sparkling Rose and Champagne styles are both excellent, and about $10-$12 US a bottle.
please im begging you to use gloria ferrer royal cuvee, its not a true champagne merely because its made in the states, but it is made contained by the true tradition and is every bit as lovely with out smaking the grapes out of your wallet. champagne is really with the sole purpose meant for a toast at weddings, so dont move about over board. a case should do next to some left over for the honey moon
