Does carbonation contained by alcoholic bevarages increase the rate at which one become intoxicated?

For instance, I just read that the "Tequila Slammer" drink is to be shaken and after consumed rapidly so that the "bubbles" increase the rate beside which the Tequila is absorbed. Is this true, and if so, surrounded by all cases of carbonated beverages containing alcohol?

Answers:
Carbonation litterally tickles the pyloric stopcock between the stomach and the duodenum causing it allow the alcohol contained by the carbonated drink to pass into the small intestine faster.

So, yes, you will touch the effects of a carbonated alcoholic beverage faster than with a non-carbonated drink, but you won't wind up up any drunker. That is still a matter of the total amount of alcohol consumed.
Yes I own heard this to be true from a bartender, also drinking through a straw, you tend to drink it faster I presume.
no
Yes. Anything that you think will intoxicate you, will.
Carbonation surrounded by a beverage containing alcohol when it enters your stomach "tickles" the bin liner to the entrance to your intestines causing alcohol to enter quicker. There it is occupied at a much quicker rate into your blood stream then it would be at any other slice of your body.
So to answer your question, Yes.
certainly NO.

most carbonation (CO2) in a beverage typically fizzles out and what in fact reaches your stomach is summarily absorbed (the CO2, not the alcohol). What is does do surrounded by Tequila Slammers, is that the bubbles help you down it faster and mask the strong taste of tequila. for a better example, simply do a straight shot of tequila (no lime/salt) and after a tequila slammer and you will surely see the difference.

a bartender that tells you that it does is simply doing his/her situation which is sell you more or play into your likes/dislikes. drinking from a straw however will intoxicate you quicker since most relations tend to consume quicker through a straw.

if you are looking at getting drunk quicker, simply drink on an empty stomach (PS--if you budge and drink 50 shots of anything on an empty stomach and obtain alcohol poisoning, i am hereby making a disclaimer that doing so will probably kill you and nobody should even sensibly think that it be aresult of me suggesting that you take a shot of tequila and a slammer. sheesh)
No. The explanation why you would get drunk express with yopur slammer is because you chugged it. You'd acquire drunk fast by chugging anything.
