How do you start a Midori bottle?

I'm trying to twist past its sell-by date the cap, is in that a trick to this...first timer.

In my lifetime, midori is just a twist-off. Not a cork.
If it is stuck, try a twosome of pliers, gently. If no-go,
Midori is completely sugary, so it may have caramelized the sou`wester on.
Dip the top into warm wet for a couple minutes to soften the sugar. Enjoy your melon-drops!
