No, the truth is that back surrounded by the 1800's when absinthe was becoming really popular the wine companies be losing a lot of money due to the certainty everyone was buying absinthe. So the wine companies made up this rumour that absinthe make you go crazy, and that you hallucinate on it. Its adjectives false, even the stuff with wormwood doesn't breed you hallucinate
No. Back in the sunshine it was made from wormwood, which is hallucinogenic and toxic, but not anymore.
Yeah, a short time ago drunk, but it's nasty, I don't recommend it.
No. Even the wormwood wasn't really toxic surrounded by the doses in the absinthe. This be a rumor started by the wine industry, which was hurt by absinthe drinkers. Any halucinigenic properties be caused by inaccurate distilling or using other ingredients. BTW, If you like the morsel of black liccorice, then you will love absinthe.
no you don't hallucinate, but if you drink satisfactory of it you may feel drunk and a bit spaced out. I don`t know a bit of a body buzz, but that is lone with the well brought-up stuff.
If you go to Portugal and buy it from someone who make it themself, (for lb4 a litre) some damn strange things happen
Its bullshit they dont craft you hallucinate, its all a touristy type article. All absinthe is is strong.
Work as in bring you drunk? Yep.
Work as in take home you hallucinate? Nope, and it never has.
Absinthe have never been a hallucinogen, that's a myth base on prohibitionist propaganda and bad science that have continued through out the years. Today it's often hyped by companies to bring back customers to pay giant prices for low-quality or false products.
Real absinthe is a complex tasting anise base liquor, with an interesting history and preparation ritual (which doesn't include fire), but it's still lone a liquor.
